National Mortgage Insurance Corporation (National MI), a subsidiary of NMI Holdings, Inc., (NASDAQ: NMIH) announced that Wisconsin account manager Jan M. Brezina has been named treasurer of the Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association for the 2016-2017 term.
Brezina was installed on June 16 by Lon E. Roberts, Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions. The Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association is the only statewide organization dedicated to representing the residential real estate finance industry.
Brezina has held several positions with the Wisconsin MBA, including serving as State Secretary for 2015-2016. She is currently Co-Chair of the state MBA's Legislative Committee and a member of the state MBA's Single-Family Residential Committee. She is also Past President of the Milwaukee Chapter. Brezina participates in the national Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) legislative committee meetings and is a member of the MBA's Mortgage Action Alliance (MAA).

Brezina has broad experience in the mortgage industry, including originations, production, risk assessment, servicing and real-estate owned loss mitigation. She joined National MI in April 2014.
In addition to industry associations, she is active in several charitable organizations in the local community, including Women for MACC (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer), Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and Friends of the Medical College of Wisconsin.
